Need help with your childcare fees?

Here are a few handy tips about how you can get help with your childcare fees.

Access childcare support through the childcare service

Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours childcare are two separate government schemes, to help parents with the cost of childcare. You can apply for both through one online application – the childcare service.

The government is introducing new ways to help parents with childcare costs.

Early Education Entitlement

Early Education Entitlement is effectively free childcare for 3 and 4 year olds funded by the government. We are registered to received the Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) which is available to all children over the age of 3 and covers the cost of 15 hours of pre school education per week during term time – we will be happy to provide more information on this funding when you visit the nursery. We also accept childcare vouchers as forms of payment.

My little boy has loved every minute of going to Portico Kindergarten. Two years ago, we moved over 300 miles and his transition from his old nursery to this nursery was amazing. Jane made everything about the move so smooth and she has been a star from his first day to his last. The staff at Portico all care about every individual child and build the best relationships with them. He has flourished in his time at portico and has really become a strong, confident little man and without the Portico love I don’t think he would be the person he is today. The encouragement and love that they show to both the children and parents is beyond what you would expect from a nursery and I would recommend them to everyone.

Two of my three children have been to this nursery and I cannot begin to explain how brilliant they are, Both my daughters have had problems with their confidence but they have come on leaps and bounds with the help of the caring staff. They go above and beyond with the children in order to get them ready for school. I love that they do the daily mile and the home learning they send home. As a parent I feel this is a great idea as we get to be involved in their learning. Absolutely brilliant nursery

Highly recommend Portico Moss Bank! My son who is ten this year came here and now my nearly 3 year old does. He has thrived so much since starting Portico a year ago. The nursery and toddler room are bright and colourful, full of toys and activities to keep children’s brains active. The staff are amazing and the love they have for my son makes it a pleasure handing him over! They have helped potty train him and with their help he is now 10 weeks without nappies! I just can’t thank them enough! Oh and the food always smells and looks amazing!
