Portico Moss Bank Facilities

We have a fabulous woodland outdoor area with covered space where children can play, explore, investigate and learn in an open door environment. This means that the children can move freely and be indoors or outdoors as they wish.

The lovely wooded outdoor area offers endless possibilities for children to learn though play. For example, children enjoy looking for bugs, birds, squirrels and worms, and they also love make mud pies and potions in the mud kitchen.

This nursery has been so overwhelmingly supportive of our family that I cannot thank them enough. They have supported me in some dark times. and they have been so patient when financial circumstances have changed drastically. They are phenomenal with the children, and my children always look forward to going to Moss Bank, they don’t want to leave most nights. The staff are very professional and I can see that they care so much about their jobs as they complete a lot of training to maintain and uphold their profession. I am so proud to say that my children attend this nursery.

This is an amazing nursery, not only do they do an amazing there care for the children is outstanding. They have also helped me so much with my mental health issues and have never judged. They always go the extra mile and the staff and management are incredible. I personally have dealt with other nurseries but this is the best in everything they do.

Highly recommend Portico Moss Bank! My son who is ten this year came here and now my nearly 3 year old does. He has thrived so much since starting Portico a year ago. The nursery and toddler room are bright and colourful, full of toys and activities to keep children’s brains active. The staff are amazing and the love they have for my son makes it a pleasure handing him over! They have helped potty train him and with their help he is now 10 weeks without nappies! I just can’t thank them enough! Oh and the food always smells and looks amazing!

Two of my three children have been to this nursery and I cannot begin to explain how brilliant they are, Both my daughters have had problems with their confidence but they have come on leaps and bounds with the help of the caring staff. They go above and beyond with the children in order to get them ready for school. I love that they do the daily mile and the home learning they send home. As a parent I feel this is a great idea as we get to be involved in their learning. Absolutely brilliant nursery
