Portico Kindergarten

We are based on the grounds of Aughton Town Green Primary School in the village of Town Green, Aughton. We use a separate modular building to the school, and enjoy great links with the school and other schools in the local area. The transition process we provide is second to none, with children experiencing lunch trips and Reception Class visits.

We are active in the local community, with trips such as Easter Bonnet parades and Christmas Carol services in the local Residential Care Home. Portico Kindergarten provide Spanish Lessons which are a massive hit in the 2-5's room (mixed classes). The Spanish teacher provides the children with a fun and exciting learning experience which also links into the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We received an 'Outstanding’ rating in our last Ofsted inspection.
