Portico Kindergarten is an amazing nursery, My little girl loves going, she bounces out after every session with a huge smile on her face. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and passionate about what they do.

All the staff an Portico Kindergarten make me and my children feel so welcome, we love this nursery as much as my children, the best descision my partner and I ever made, we would highly recommend to others.

Fantastic nursery where my two little ones thrived from the age of 1 to 4, enjoyed every minute and gave them the skills and confidence to ensure the transition from nursery to school was as comfortable for them as it possibly could be! Great staff, great location, highly recommended!

My little boy has loved every minute of going to Portico Kindergarten. Two years ago, we moved over 300 miles and his transition from his old nursery to this nursery was amazing. Jane made everything about the move so smooth and she has been a star from his first day to his last. The staff at Portico all care about every individual child and build the best relationships with them. He has flourished in his time at portico and has really become a strong, confident little man and without the Portico love I don’t think he would be the person he is today. The encouragement and love that they show to both the children and parents is beyond what you would expect from a nursery and I would recommend them to everyone.

Amazing nursery, very friendly and very organised

My son has come on so much with his speech and learning since starting Portico Moss Bank. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff and they have a good relationship with the children

Two of my three children have been to this nursery and I cannot begin to explain how brilliant they are, Both my daughters have had problems with their confidence but they have come on leaps and bounds with the help of the caring staff. They go above and beyond with the children in order to get them ready for school. I love that they do the daily mile and the home learning they send home. As a parent I feel this is a great idea as we get to be involved in their learning. Absolutely brilliant nursery

This is an amazing nursery, not only do they do an amazing there care for the children is outstanding. They have also helped me so much with my mental health issues and have never judged. They always go the extra mile and the staff and management are incredible. I personally have dealt with other nurseries but this is the best in everything they do.

Highly recommend Portico Moss Bank! My son who is ten this year came here and now my nearly 3 year old does. He has thrived so much since starting Portico a year ago. The nursery and toddler room are bright and colourful, full of toys and activities to keep children’s brains active. The staff are amazing and the love they have for my son makes it a pleasure handing him over! They have helped potty train him and with their help he is now 10 weeks without nappies! I just can’t thank them enough! Oh and the food always smells and looks amazing!

My daughter started here in January 19, she absolutely loves it and so do I. The staff are so lovely, they make you feel so welcome all the time. Also, my daughter has come on so much since she has been there, saying more words, being more confident etc, I am so happy I chose this nursery for my daughter.

This nursery has been so overwhelmingly supportive of our family that I cannot thank them enough. They have supported me in some dark times. and they have been so patient when financial circumstances have changed drastically. They are phenomenal with the children, and my children always look forward to going to Moss Bank, they don’t want to leave most nights. The staff are very professional and I can see that they care so much about their jobs as they complete a lot of training to maintain and uphold their profession. I am so proud to say that my children attend this nursery.

Choosing a nursery seemed so hard but then I went to Portico Kindergarten in Aughton. Since my daughter has attended her speech, manners and personality has improved, she enjoys the learning environment so much. The staff at Portico Kindergarten make it easy for me to leave her every day, I know she is loved after and loved by every member of staff. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Approachable friendly staff. Staff always available to chat and give feedback on my child. Bright airy room with varied/ well resourced activities and toys

Observed some lovely outdoor experiences and photos of messy play. Staff have a greater understanding of the purpose of the outdoor resources collections and continue to work on these

Very good systems have been established to observe, assess and plan for children's learning, including monthly and termly summative assessments and the recent introduction of data analysis to monitor the progress of different groups of children and support the identification of children at risk of underachieving

As parents we clearly see huge differences in language skills and expressions of wants, likes and dislikes. Jessica looks forward to nursery, reassuring us both that structured activity is challenging and fun

Portico Kindergarten at Town Green has been instrumental in my daughter’s development. Her progression has been outstanding since joining. The manager and her team are friendly, professional and caring. My daughter literally bounds into the nursery in the morning. I cannot fault the staff! Excellent attitude, friendly, caring and genuinely interested in my child. I am delighted with the standard of care, my child’s body language says it all the way he runs in to his key worker and other staff. I feel as though the staff care, are enthusiastic and importantly listen to me. I am ALWAYS left reassured that my child receives the best possible care and attention

My child seems to be above and beyond her years due to the staff which encourages her at home, many comments have been passed on about her abilities. I am very happy with Portico, the staff, children and parents are lovely. Very friendly atmoshphere.

I think the choice of food is fantastic, my girls eat better at nursery than at home! It is always varied but always healthy. We are extremely happy with the childcare our girls receive, they are happy and settled. We have recommended the nursery to friends and we are thankful to the staff for the love and care they give our girls

Portico Kindergarten is a very inclusive setting. Staff are welcoming, will always ask for advice when it is needed and work to implement any strategies and support provided. Jane is committed to ensuring that her team helps each child develop and make progress whatever their needs, and any changes or available training in Special Educational Needs is accessed and put into practice as appropriate.

I have been delighted with Portico Lodge since the day Sadie started there. Everyone who she has worked with have been sport on. Becky and Linzi are fantastic and I think Sadie has come on lots under their care. I also feel that the manager Becca deserves a special mention, she is a ray of sunshine and really seems to enjoy her job- an asset to the company. I will be sad that Sadie’s time there is ending. I will also be happy to recommend Portico Lodge to anyone.
